Hamiltons Bluff wins two of the three Gold Medals awarded at the Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show 2008
Our 2005 Sangiovese was awarded equal top Gold at the prestigious Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show. Only three Gold medals were awarded for the entire Sangiovese class. Our 2007 Sangiovese also won Gold. The 2002 Sangiovese won Bronze as did the 2005 Sangiovese Fortified. This is an outstanding result for us and reinforces or faith in Sangiovese and Canowindra.
